Virginia Ferrara's work explores images often ignored during our daily lives in an effort to capture the transient moment. She lives in Coral Gables, Florida where the imagery is derived from her personal life whether it be stereotypical mundane daily scenes or steamy images from the dance scene of the night. The style for each series is expressed with painterly brushstrokes and vivid colors to communicate the movement of energies and time in a specific environment. She herself a dancer has been involved in performance and competitive Latin dance in which her passion for dance is expressed in the Latin dance series.
