Roger Etienne was born in Bruges, Belgium. He came to France as a young man and established his art career there. After World War II he came to Hollywood and pursued his career as both an artist and as a movie actor. He worked for several studios and appeared in many movies on film and TV for several decades. He maintained two homes both in Paris and L.A. where he split his time.
