Robert K. "Bob" LeRose (1921 - 2006): Girl Listening to a Record. Oil on illustration board, c.1945. Signed lower right, framed. LeRose was an American advertising artist and a comic book colorist for DC Comics, who provided the color for hundreds of stories featuring Batman, Superman and other comic book heroes. This oil painting is from his student years in the mid-late 1940's.
