Pierre Bonnard (French, 1867-1947) Manner of/ Attributed: Le Jardin de Vernon, oil on canvas, signed lower right, illegible writing in pencil on the back of the stretcher. Framed.

Pierre Bonnard was born at Fortenay-aux-Roses in France in 1867. He is considered to have been the most important "pure" painter of his generation in the tradition of the great colorists - Delacroix, Gauguin, Redon.
