Sketch and Corresponding Etching. the drawing is pencil on paper, signed lower right in ink. This drawing is believed to be a preparatory drawing for a work that would later be made into an etching in the Vollard Suite. The etching is signed pencil lower right.

Picasso was the most dominant and influential artist of the first half of the twentieth century. Associated most of all with pioneering Cubism, alongside Georges Braque, he also invented collage and made major contributions to Symbolism and Surrealism.

The drawing is 10.25 inches; The print is 10.5 x 7.25 inches with margins.
