Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) Manner of/ Attributed: Le Cirque. Pencil on heavy paper, signed and date (6.4.70.XII) upper left, in pencil. Unframed. The drawing offered comprises part of the "Pacific Palisades Collection"; so named for their Southern California location of acquisition from London, England based art dealer Bill Ferrari during the years spanning 2004-2008.

Picasso was the most dominant and influential artist of the first half of the twentieth century. Associated most of all with pioneering Cubism, alongside Georges Braque, he also invented collage and made major contributions to Symbolism and Surrealism.

11.25 x 15 inches paper.

Bill Ferrari, London; acquired from above in a private sale by the current owner, a California Gentleman.

Condition

Good condition with light toning throughout; light handling; corners are rounded; right edge of paper is rippled.
