Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) Attributed: Double Sided Head Studies. Ink and crayon on paper, signed lower right, undated, unframed. Verso is stamped twice.

Picasso was the most dominant and influential artist of the first half of the twentieth century. Associated most of all with pioneering Cubism, alongside Georges Braque, he also invented collage and made major contributions to Symbolism and Surrealism.

Condition

Fair condition, the center is creased and flattened; pinholes in all corners; left edge is very ragged; paper is evenly toned throughout; small tears around the outer edges; hole in the center of the paper has been repaired.
