Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) Manner of/ Attributed: Artiste et Modele. Pen and ink on paper, signed and date (18.12.54.II) lower left. Unframed. The drawing offered comprises part of the "Pacific Palisades Collection"; so named for their Southern California location of acquisition from London, England based art dealer Bill Ferrari during the years spanning 2004-2008.

Picasso was the most dominant and influential artist of the first half of the twentieth century. Associated most of all with pioneering Cubism, alongside Georges Braque, he also invented collage and made major contributions to Symbolism and Surrealism.

Good condition with light toning throughout; light handling; ink has blead through the paper and is visible verso; upper left corner is bent.
