Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) After/Manner of: Dish of Pears. Oil on prepared wooden panel, signed Picasso and dated 2.7.XXXVI (1936). Verso bears decorative labels. Framed, with an identivication label on the back.

Picasso was the most dominant and influential artist of the first half of the twentieth century. Associated most of all with pioneering Cubism, alongside Georges Braque, he also invented collage and made major contributions to Symbolism and Surrealism.

Panel 12.6 x16.5 incnes; Frame 17 x 21 inches.
