Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) After: Centaur Picador, 1948. Engraving on paper, signed in red crayon lower right, titled, dated, and numbered (EA I/X). this image was used in Ramon Revento's Illustrated book, Deux Contes: Le Centaure picador. Le Crepuscule d'un Faune, with four drypoints and collotype reproductions of ornamental titles and initials, unframed.

Picasso was the most dominant and influential artist of the first half of the twentieth century. Associated most of all with pioneering Cubism, alongside Georges Braque, he also invented collage and made major contributions to Symbolism and Surrealism.

11 x 8 inches paper; 4 x 3.5 inches plate.

Good condition with light toning around the edges of the paper.
