Ossip Zadkine (Russian, 1888-1967): Combat avec le Dragon des Hesperides. This original Lithograph is hand signed in pencil at the lower right corner. It is also hand numbered in pencil 108/350 at the lower left corner. The work is furthermore signed in the plate by the artist. This lithograph was printed in 1960 in a limited edition of only 350 impressions as part of the series "Les Traveaux d'Hercule" (Die Arbeiten des Herakles) that was illustrated with 28 different original lithographs by Zadkine to the myth of Euripides. The work was published by Christopher Czwiklitzer in Koln, Germany. Literature: Ossip Zadkine, Le Sculpteur Graveur de 1919-1967, by Christoph Czwilklitzer, Paris, 1968. Reference: Czwiklitzer No. 102. This print is accompanied by a document from Vincent Barreda from Art Invest, France.

Good condition considering age; foxing throughout; vertical bends through the center of the page from having been stored rolled; dent at the bottom right edge.
