Miss Bugs (20th Century, UK): Lost Her on the Tube (Snub Nose Print), 2010. Silk Screen and Stencil on London pocket tube map. Number and Stamped (41/500). Unframed.
Miss Bugs are a London-based street-art partnership (a boy and a girl), working together since 2007. From their early days, they have preferred to keep a low profile choosing to communicate through their artwork rather than through media appearances, therefore, not much is known about them.
Daring and dynamic, Street Art has roots in a controversial past. Long-considered vandalism, it was during the 1970s and 1980s that artists revolutionized the aesthetic, bringing their individual styles to a fine art audience and leading the way for the next generation of artists that includes the likes of Barry McGee, Invader, Mr. Brainwash, Banksy, and Brazilian twins Os Gemeos.
