Martin Wong (Chinese-American, 1946-1999) was a Chinese-American artist and poet whose work played a significant role in the graffiti and street art movements of the 1970s and 1980s. Known for his detailed urban landscapes and vibrant colors, Wong captured the spirit and energy of New York City's Lower East Side during a transformative period.
