Le Corbusier (Swiss / French, 1887-1965) Attributed: Cubist Composition. Watercolor and crayon on paper, signed in ink below, verso is stamped "Forestal Collection" Nice (France). Unframed. This drawing is accompanied by a document declaring the transfer of ownership in a 2004 sale.
Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, commonly known as Le Corbusier, was a Swiss-French architect, designer, painter, urban planner, writer, and one of the pioneers of what is now regarded as modern architecture.

Provenance as reported by the previous owner: Grazzian Gallery, Antibes Juan les Pins, France; Michel Meyer, Tarnow Poland; 2004; Private collection, Los Angelas, USA; Private Estate, North Carolina, USA.

Condition

Very good condition; corners are rounded; the orange paint has blead through to the back of the paper; slight undulation in the bottom half of the composition; small crease upper right corner.
