Jules Pascin (American, 1885-1930): Cendrillon, 1927. Softground etching with aquatint signed in in pencil in margins lower right mounted to cardboard. Framed.

Known under the pseudonym of the “Prince of Montparnasse,” Pascin mainly painted women, often nude or in stages of undress, in a fleeting, gestural aesthetic akin to the movements of Fauvism or Cubism.

20.5 x 16 inches framed; 13.75 x 10 inches plate.

Good condition; the paper is lightly toned. This print has not been examined outside of its frame.
