Joan Miro (Spanish, 1893-1983) Attributed: Sans Titre. Gouache and ink on paper, signed three times. Verso shows an inscription in graphite that reads: 'palma de mallorca 1941' See Christie's NY, May 15, 2015, Lot 01163, for a comparable work.

Joan Miro was a painter, sculptor, and ceramicist born in Barcelona. A museum dedicated to his work, the Fundacio Joan Miro, was established in his native city of Barcelona in 1975.

Condition

Good aged condition; the bottom and right edges of the paper are very tattered; heavy foxing throughout; pinholes in all four corners; adhesive from previous mounting on the front of the top and bottom edges.
