Gaston Lachaise signature work was sculpted, larger-than-life abstract, erotic female figures who were nude and reclining or standing, had pendulous breasts and large stomachs. Some of them were acrobatic and others were floating figures in fountains.

11 x 7.75 inches.

Private sale, Maine (Book, Print, and Paper Show) 1980; Private collection, Philadelphia, PA; acquired from above by a Gentleman from California.

Very good condition, with light toning.
