Favaro: Italian Landscape. This beautifully bucolic and intricately framed oil painting is the creation of Italian artist Favaro. It was painted in 1985, when it was acquired from a fine art gallery in Rome. The painting is on a copper panel measuring approx. 9"x12", which is mounted on a hardboard panel and double-framed, under glass. Although the framing may appear redundant, it is done in in a manner popular in Europe and also in Japan. The outer frame size is 18" x 20.5"
