Donna Schuster (American, 1883 - 1953) : Farm Scene (with Pigs and Horses). Watercolor on cream cold pressed paper, signed lower left, mounted to mat bord, unframed. See John Moran Auctioneers, 2008 for a similar work in oil.

Donna Schuster was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1883. She attended the Art Institute of Chicago and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School studying with Edmund C. Tarbell and Frank W. Benson. She continued her education in art by accompanying William Merritt Chase on a painting tour of Belgium in the summer of 1912.

24.25 x 30.5 inches with mat; 20 x 26 inches paper.

Very good condition; the bottom edge of the paper is slightly tattered, small rip at bottom center
