American Folk Art: Elm Farm, Late 19th Century. Oil on canvas, unsigned, framed. In the front is the farmer's Holstein herd with his prized bull right in the front. There also are four Milk Cows one with a young calf and in the background is a second younger bull and two older calves.

23 x 33.5 inches framed; 21 x 31 inches framed.

Private collection, Madison, Wisconsin, USA.

Condition

Good condition; the canvas has been retouched and restored in several small areas; moderate surface grime; small areas of light craquelure throughout.
