Alexander Calder (American, 1898-1976), After: Wire Sculpture. Watercolor ad lithograph on cold pressed paper, framed. This item is accompanied by a catalog from the Wire Sculpture by Calder exhibit from Whitney Museum of American Art, 1984.

Alexander Calder is widely considered to be one of the most important American sculptors of the 20th century. Calder is best known for his introduction of the element of movement into sculpture with his creation of the first mobile.

Excellent, well preserved condition; paper is slightly rippled; the frame had a few chips.
