Born in Santiago, Chile in 1946, Alex Perez is a fourth-generation Jewish artist who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Santiago. After immigrating to Israel in 1964, he balanced agricultural work with painting, eventually dedicating himself fully to art. Influenced by his family's rich musical and artistic heritage, Perez's work often reflects a rhythmic, harmonious style. He is known for his murals in Israel's largest synagogue in Holon and his stained glass in Tel Aviv synagogues. Using various techniques, including oils, acrylics, and sculpture, his art is featured in collections worldwide, embodying peace and beauty.
