Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) :  Blue Period Portrait. Vintage collotype with pochoir print from a 1946 Picasso-authorized portfolio of his most famous drawings, titled "Picasso Fifteen Drawings", published by Albert Carman from an edition of 500. Signed in plate, unframed.

Picasso was the most dominant and influential artist of the first half of the twentieth century. Associated most of all with pioneering Cubism, alongside Georges Braque, he also invented collage and made major contributions to Symbolism and Surrealism.

19 x 13 inches, 48 x 33 cm paper; 13.25 x 10.75 inches plate.

Condition

Overall very good condition; light moisture damage in the margins.
